How to Import Apple Contacts Into Mailbook

Apple Contacts can export a vCard file from your iPhone. Mailbook can read that file, count the contacts with addresses and birthdays, and let you decide which people to save.
The important detail is that Apple exports from a contact list. If you only open one person, you will usually see sharing options for that single contact. For a Mailbook import, start from Lists so you can export many contacts into one .vcf file.

Before you continue
- • Export a contact list, not a single contact card, when you want to import several people at once.
- • In the export field list, select postal addresses and birthdays if they are available.
- • Save the exported file as a vCard file. Mailbook reads .vcf files from Apple Contacts.
- • Review the Mailbook import screen before saving, because you can choose exactly which people to keep.
Export from iPhone, import into Mailbook
- Open the Contacts app on your iPhone.
- Tap Lists in the top-left corner. If you are already inside one list, go back until you see the Lists screen.
- Touch and hold the contact list you want to export, for example All iPhone or All iCloud.
- Tap Export.
- In the field list, make sure postal addresses and birthdays are selected when they are available, then tap Done.
- Save the exported vCard file somewhere you can find it, such as Files or iCloud Drive.
- Open Mailbook, click Import contacts, and choose the vCard file.
- Choose whether you want to import contacts with Birthday, Address, or Birthday + address.
- Select the people you want to save, or use Select all for the current view.
- Click Save selected to add those contacts to Mailbook.
